Pumpkin & Chocolate Chip Cookies

You’ve got to try these cookies! They are so good and easy to make. Everybody will love them…trust me. They are also different and thus a novelty for the holidays.  Everyone will think you’re directly related to Mrs. Fields.



  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 2 cups (12-ounce bag) milk chocolate chips, not semisweet

    You know I have to post about these cookies! The recipe I used started with macadamia nuts and white chocolate but I divided the batter in two, one the original way and the second with milk chocolate chips. They are delish AND are just as good a few days later because the pumkin puree keeps them nice and moist.

    Ok, ya’ll convinced me to try them too. Well, that and the fact they sound great. I hope I survive Christmas with my weight CLOSE to what it was before Thanksgiving!
